LifeLabs in B.C. ordered to pay $32K for misgendering transgender, non-binary patients: Human Rights Tribunal

B.C.’s Human Rights Tribunal has ordered LifeLabs and a subsidiary to pay three transgender and non-binary people $32,000 for “injury to their dignity” after the staff at the company misgendered and outed them at service centres in Vancouver and Burnaby in 2019.
