B.C. ostrich farm files lawsuit demanding compensation for 37 birds ‘missing’ after 2025 cull

A year after a controversial ostrich cull in B.C.’s Interior, the owners of Universal Ostrich Farms have filed a lawsuit accusing the federal government of animal cruelty, under-compensation and preventing the launch of a lucrative commercial enterprise.
