Man shot days after Halifax officials asked to take security action at ‘dangerous’ park

For years, Shelter Nova Scotia urged Halifax officials not to install a public park across from the men’s emergency shelter and raised concerns about people gathering in the space late at night. Last week, a man was shot in the park.
