Jennifer Lopez is channeling a major family milestone into her upcoming single, “Proof of Love,” a dance track inspired by her children preparing to leave home.
In an interview with Variety, Lopez shared that her 18-year-old twins, Max and Emme, getting ready for college motivated her to return to the recording studio. The experience brought emotional changes that helped shape the song’s themes of love, separation, and personal growth.
Despite its emotional inspiration, “Proof of Love” features an upbeat dance sound. The song explores how missing someone can reflect the depth of love shared with that person.
The track will appear as a bonus song on the first-ever vinyl edition of Lopez’s 2011 album Love?, scheduled for release in November 2026. Three vinyl versions became available for preorder on October 28.
Lopez has also been writing additional material as she continues exploring new music.
Meanwhile, her concert film The JLo Show: Live in Vegas is scheduled to premiere November 26 on CBS and Paramount+.
The new release connects Lopez’s personal experiences with her ongoing music career.
